“Hour by hour, day after day. Month by month, winter through summer,
the cycle of seasons recycled. Five years disappeared.
Logic and common sense demanding every year to stop this absurd journey.
I lay before you, t
he results of my absurdity. You tell me.”

Warrior Obsidia

This body of art was born from an apocalyptic story I was writing: Obsidia. In the imagery below, Obsidia is the figure with wings though in different interpretations. The little three-arm children are, well, just that.
As I had no Photoshop experience to render Obsidia more human like, this was what resulted. The framed motif of most images was to represent – as in the story – four-dimensional holographics. Also, all the “metal/iron” 3D looking pieces, I created with photographs of antique door hinges, which I then warped, bent, stretched and liqufied in Photoshop. A sneaky way when one has no 3D rendering experience!
